Nutrition. When you're riding a self-supported long distance bikepacking race you'll be hard pushed to get your 5 a day on board. The most important thing is to get enough calories on board to keep your legs spinning without adding too much weight or using up too much space on the bike.

This workshop, run by Greg May (Tour Divide finisher and regular writer for Grit.CX) will delve into detail on how to achieve this goal whilst trying to maintain a relatively varied diet. He will also cover nutrition in the lead up to a big challenge.

Greg once broke his jaw weeks before taking part in the Dirty Reiver and managed to stay fuelled by sipping on Peronin. There is no better person to give first hand advice on bikepacking nutrition.
